Assistant job posting - Eagle Lake Golf Course

Eagle Lake Golf Course is expanding and creating a new job opening for Pro shop assistant to work under the direction of a Class “A” CPGA Professional. This position is perfect for someone who loves sports and wants to broaden their customer service skills while learning all facets of managing a golf facility. The successful applicant will have the opportunity for full time seasonal employment at Eagle Lake Golf Course.

The objectives are for the candidate to: (1) demonstrate a willingness to learn; (2) develop entrepreneurial skills; (3) successfully manage a pro-shop operation; (4) develop strong organizational and time management skills.

Under the supervision of a Class “A” Professional with more than 24 years experience, the candidate will be coached on playing and teaching techniques if applicable. He/she will assist with the junior programs. Time will be provided for practice and to participate in competitive events. He/she will schedule tee times, purchase goods and services for the pro-shop; demonstrate and sell products; organize tournament and group events, supervise and monitor daily cash closing procedures; and interact with guests in a proficient and professional manner.

Salary to be negotiated on the successful candidate’s experience.
