Pinegrove takes team title, Garagan wins in playoff

A three hole, three way playoff was needed to declare the Pro winner of the 2007 Pro/Junior Championship Monday at Pinewood Park Golf Course.

Dan Garagan of the host club, outlasted George Lacko of Pinegrove and John Hastie of Lively to capture the Pro side of the tournament. All three Professionals came in at 2-over 58's.

Lacko's Pinegrove team however took the team title with a 1 stroke victory over Hastie and his juniors from Lively.

Next event is the NOPGA Championship, sponsored by Titleist and Footjoy. It will take place August 5th and 6th at the Lively Golf Course.
