Job Opportunity - The Ridge at Manitou

The Ridge at Manitou voted best new Canadian course 2006 by Golf Digest Magazine, requires the services of a Member/Guest Services Manager. The Ridge is one of Thomas McBroom’s finest designs. Set on the shores of Lake Manitouwabing just east of Parry Sound, the Ridge at Manitou is a private equity club with a high standard of quality, playability and service.

We are looking for a personable, motivated and mature individual to be a key member of our team and to deliver outstanding customer service. This position is a career enhancement opportunity for an apprentice Professional or a qualified PGM student.

Duties: will include 2 Golf Shop shifts weekly, supervising the Guest Services and Range Staff, meeting and greeting of members and guests, assistance in setting up for corporate outings, cart fleet & club storage management, overseeing range facilities, and generally assisting the Golf Operations team in providing great service.

Qualifications: excellent communication skills, private club/resort experience an asset, ability to show initiative and to work in a team environment.

Salary/Benefits: above industry average salary, performance based gratuity program, full staff uniform, meal allowance, housing subsidy, clothing allowance & playing privileges. (CPGA members will also receive CPGA dues, education & tournament allowance)
