The Edson Golf Club is a not for profit organization seeking the services of a Head Professional. Reporting to the Director of Golf, the successful candidate will be responsible to efficiently manage the Pro Shop operations and provide excellent customer service for 400 members and public. We are located on the Yellowhead Highway half way between Edmonton and Jasper.

The Edson Golf Club is a not for profit organization seeking the services of a Head Professional. Reporting to the Director of Golf, the successful candidate will be responsible to efficiently manage the Pro Shop operations and provide excellent customer service for 400 members and public. We are located on the Yellowhead Highway half way between Edmonton and Jasper.
Duties include and not limited to:
- Hire, train and supervise competent personnel inclusive of all Pro Shop and appropriate support staff.
- Communicate daily with all departments within the organization.
- Enforce club rules, regulations and implement club policies.
- Involvement with club committees and leagues to ensure high level of club standards are maintained.
- Control Pro Shop sales and inventory.
- Administration of Power Carts, Pull Carts, Club Storage and Driving Range.
- Control of member, public and tournament play.
- Ensure proper handling of revenues through the Pro Shop.
Required Qualifications:
- Class ‘A’ Member in good standing with the Canadian Professional Golfers Association.
- An ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with merchandising, inventory control and product sales.
- Background in teaching golf skills with emphasis on junior programs and development.
- Knowledge of computer systems including point of sale, inventory and booking programs.
Compensation for this position will be a minimum of $50,000 and will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
