NOPGA Spring Championship Results

George Lacko from Pinegrove outlasted the field and prevailed over David Banks of Southern Ontario to claim the 2008 NOPGA Spring Championship played at Stone Ridge of Elliot Lake this week.

Firing a 2-under 70 from the very difficult Black Tees on Monday, the field moved back and Lacko moved forward and found himself in a playoff with David Banks of Within Range from Southern Ontario. Prevailing on the first playoff hole, Lacko was crowned the 2008 Champion. Finishing in third was Dan Garagan of Pinewood with a two day total of 147 and rounding out fourth was Jeff Hamilton of the Sault Golf and Country Club at 149.
